Home Made Pizza Sauce

Ingredients required -

2 tsp - Butter
1 tsp - Ajwain
2 Cloves - Garlic
1 finely chopped - Onion
400 gm - Tomato Puree
2 tsp - Vegetable oil/ olive oil
50 gm - butter
1/4 tsp - pepper
1/4 tsp - salt

Utensils required -

Sauce pan
Spatula 

How to make Pizza Sauce -

Fry Onions in butter and olive oil
add garlic
Add the rest of the ingredients and cook until the sauce consistency in obtained.

Home Made Pizza Base

Ingredients required - 

2tsp - active yeast
2 tsp - sugar
1-4 tsp - vegetable oil / olive oil
1/4 tsp - salt
1 cup - warm water ( 100 Fahrenheit )

Utensils required -

2 - bowls
1 - spatula
cling film / muslin cloth
rolling pin
Sieve
Circular baking tray

How to make Pizza Base -

Dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water and leave it aside for 10 min. 
sieve the flour.
Make the dough ( flour, salt, yeast and sugar mixture , oil)
knead the dough for 3-4 min until it forms a smooth dough ball.
Allow to rise by transferring into a bowl and covering with cling film / muslin cloth ( to keep the dough wet at all times) for about 2 hours.
sprinkle some flour and roll the dough using a roller pin.

Indian Style Macaroni and Cheese

Ingredients: 
Tomato sauce- 
1 tsp vegetable oil
1 tsp cumin seeds
2 tsp peeled, minced ginger
1 1/2 cups chopped onions
3 cups chopped tomatoes
salt to taste

sauce- 
2 tsp butter
3 tsp all purpose flour
1 cup milk (warmed)
1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shreded
1/2 tsp pepper
1 cup macaroni (cooked)


How to prepare Indian Style Macaroni and Cheese:
In a sauce pan, heat oil over medium heat. saute cumin, ginger and garlic for one minute.

add onions and cook until translucent.
add tomatoes and salt, mix well cook, covered, over medium low heat until tomatoes break down ( 5 to 7 minutes). Mash with the back of the spoon. set aside.


For the sauce, melt butter over medium flame. Remove from heat, and whisk in flour. add milk in a slow stream, whisking continuosly to make a smooth mixture. return to medium heat and cook, stirring continuosly, until sauce is thick- should take about 5 - 7 minutes.


stir in 1/4 cup cheese until melted, stir in pepper .
add tomato sauce and mix well.
stir in macaroni and cook until bubly and lightly brown.
serve hot.
